Heavenly Father, of whom the whole family in heaven and on earth is named, help us to make Jesus' prayer for the oneness of all believers our very own. May it become my soul's constant, sincere desire, whether spoken or unexpressed. May my mind and heart grow into full agreement with the mind of Christ Jesus, our Lord. Attune my spirit to his spirit, until my lips speak what Jesus says, and my attitudes and actions correspond in harmony with my words. Give me discerning eyes to see as my brothers and sisters all whom you identify as your children. Grant me grace to welcome them in your holy family, joyously serving one another and fulfilling your eternal purpose in all the earth, to the praise of your glory, through Jesus Christ, our Lord
