Summary of Key Points

1
This Prayer Group is for all who are willing to pray for God's love and forgiveness available in Jesus, uniting spiritually together as God's eternal children, in our own love and forgiveness for all who invoke the Triune God and confess Jesus as Lord and Savior, claiming the blood of Jesus of the Bible for the remission of all forms of sin in repentance.
2
We seek unity here, not in any one denomination or group, or in any political strategy, or other controversial issues, but rather in the gospel, good news of what Jesus did for us all on the cross, drawing all believers into ever greater love and holiness in Jesus.
πŸ“‹

General Guidelines

We invite all believers to join, as well as all people who will at least try to believe in Jesus for a personal healing miracle.

All Christians are welcome to join in prayers and discussion in spiritual Christian unity, and we try to be as inclusive of believers as possible, provided posts are consistent with the scriptural basis described here.

We mainly look for posts by our believing members to bear the fruit of the Spirit of brotherly love, as repentant children of God eternally together in Christ. Of course, we also love all our neighbors in this world, even our enemies, but our primary focus here is, first and most especially, our love for our Lord Jesus Christ, and for all our brothers and sisters in Christ.

"As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all [men], especially unto them who are of the household of faith." β€” Galatians 6:10 AV

Inclusive Prayer Community

This Prayer Group is for all Christians, but also for any non-Christians who might want to just try praying to Jesus. That may sound a little odd, because it puts doubting sinners to pray together with faithful believers, but it's not odd if you realize that Jesus was sent to sinners, and so are we believers sent today.

✝️
Mark 2:17
Authorized Version (AV)
"When Jesus heard [it], he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"When Jesus heard this, he said to them, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick; I have come to call not the righteous but sinners.""

Jesus, Himself, was willing to grant compassion to those who, in spite of their doubts, sought His help in the past, so we're sure He still hears their prayers today, as we compassionately join them here in prayer to Him.

✝️
Mark 9:22-24
Authorized Version (AV)
"And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us. Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things [are] possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"It has often cast him into the fire and into the water, to destroy him; but if you are able to do anything, have pity on us and help us." Jesus said to him, "If you are able! β€”All things can be done for the one who believes." Immediately the father of the child cried out, "I believe; help my unbelief!""

Another reason we believers are willing to pray with anyone who will give Jesus a try is because we realize that no matter how long or how faithfully we have served God, none of us believers has any righteousness of our own that remotely compares to the righteousness of God that was first given for the world through the perfect life, sacrificial death, and resurrection of Jesus, as the starting point of faith for all Christians.

✝️
Romans 3:22
Authorized Version (AV)
"Even the righteousness of God [which is] by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:"
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction,"
πŸ•ŠοΈ

Unity in God's Righteousness

Whether we separately believe we may be reckoned with all of God's righteousness now in this life, or whether we separately believe we may be judged to receive all of God's righteousness only later in the life to come, yet we believe together now that it is God, alone, in the unmerited gift of His eternal, unbounded grace and mercy to us all in Christ, who ever reckons our faith, and judges our works. We agree that for all of us, only God reckons our faith in Christ as His righteousness in this life, and only Christ comes again to judge our works done in this life for the next.

✝️
Romans 4:4
Authorized Version (AV)
"Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"Now to one who works, wages are not reckoned as a gift but as something due."
✝️
Romans 4:9-10
Authorized Version (AV)
"Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness. How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"Is this blessedness, then, pronounced only on the circumcised, or also on the uncircumcised? We say, "Faith was reckoned to Abraham as righteousness." How then was it reckoned to him? Was it before or after he had been circumcised? It was not after, but before he was circumcised."
✝️
Matthew 16:27
Authorized Version (AV)
"For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
""For the Son of Man is to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay everyone for what has been done.""

With separate beliefs about some issues of our common salvation and eternal life in Christ, yet we believe together in Jesus as the One source of righteousness for us all. With Christ as our common source, none of us are ignorant of the fact that all this righteousness comes to us only from the eternal mercy and grace of God, to whose righteousness we have all submitted ourselves according to our beliefs, never seeking to establish righteousness of our own.

✝️
Romans 10:3
Authorized Version (AV)
"For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"For, being ignorant of the righteousness that comes from God, and seeking to establish their own, they have not submitted to God's righteousness."

We thus unite here to declare to the world, not our own, but only the righteousness of God shown to us all in Jesus Christ lifted up where the world can see him, in the sacrifice made for us by God, Himself, in the sacrificial blood of Christ to pay for all our past sins in repentance through our common faith in what He, alone, has done on the cross for all, whosoever will believe it so.

✝️
Romans 3:25
Authorized Version (AV)
"Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;"
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"whom God put forward as a sacrifice of atonement by his blood, effective through faith. He did this to show his righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over the sins previously committed;"
✝️
John 3:14-17
Authorized Version (AV)
"And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in him may have eternal life. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. "Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.""

Christ: Our Holiness, Righteousness, and Wisdom

We believers join together here to pray in faith of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, to show the world He was sent to earth by our Father, not merely as holy, righteous and wise, but as Himself the very holiness, righteousness and wisdom of God Himself in human flesh.

✝️
1 Corinthians 1:23-24
Authorized Version (AV)
"But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"but we proclaim Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God."
✝️
1 Corinthians 1:30-31
Authorized Version (AV)
"But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"He is the source of your life in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption, in order that, as it is written, "Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.""

To us believers praying together here in this Prayer Group, we agree to say together to the world, in one common meaning, that together in Christ, "The LORD is our righteousness", and we are together in Christ, "The LORD our righteousness."

✝️
Jeremiah 33:15-16
Authorized Version (AV)
"In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land. In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"In those days and at that time I will cause a righteous Branch to spring up for David; and he shall execute justice and righteousness in the land. In those days Judah will be saved and Jerusalem will live in safety. And this is the name by which it will be called: "The LORD is our righteousness.""

The righteousness of God given to all believers in Christ is what we want to pray here believing together in, with all who will come to receive it, now and forever. So we rejoice to pray to Jesus along with the ignorant doubter, but while, at the same time, we believers are praying in our own, full confidence that the goodness of our Lord, who showers sweet rain upon both the righteous and the unrighteous, will remove all doubt, leading all to repentance, just as He does for every one of us.

✝️
Matthew 19:13-14
Authorized Version (AV)
"Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"Then little children were being brought to him in order that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples spoke sternly to those who brought them; but Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.""
✝️
1 John 3:21-24
Authorized Version (AV)
"Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have boldness before God; and we receive from him whatever we ask, because we obey his commandments and do what pleases him. And this is his commandment, that we should believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us. All who obey his commandments abide in him, and he abides in them. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit that he has given us."
✝️
Romans 2:4
Authorized Version (AV)
"Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?"
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"Or do you despise the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience? Do you not realize that God's kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?"

Invitation to Non-Christians

Are you a non-Christian who would like to just try praying to Jesus for a personal healing miracle? Then you've come to the right place.

✝️
Isaiah 56:7
Authorized Version (AV)
"Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices [shall be] accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"these I will bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer; their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples."

Don't let your past sins keep you from trying to believe in Jesus for a personal healing miracle. Some sickness has nothing to do with the sins of those involved, but is only for the glory of God, to show how much Jesus loves you in the healing.

✝️
John 9:2-3
Authorized Version (AV)
"And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" Jesus answered, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned; he was born blind so that God's works might be revealed in him.""
✝️
John 11:3-4
Authorized Version (AV)
"Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick. When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"So the sisters sent a message to Jesus, "Lord, he whom you love is ill." But when Jesus heard it, he said, "This illness does not lead to death; rather it is for God's glory, so that the Son of God may be glorified through it.""
πŸ’

Healing Miracles and Forgiveness

Jesus worked many healing miracles without requiring the petitioner to repent of sins before the miracle was accomplished. From the beginning of His ministry, Jesus certainly taught repentance and remission of sins, so repentance could surely be expected after doing a miracle healing, but He worked the miracles first to prove that forgiveness of sins was His to give.

✝️
Mark 1:14-15
Authorized Version (AV)
"Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"Now after John was arrested, Jesus came to Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God, and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near; repent, and believe in the good news.""
✝️
John 5:14
Authorized Version (AV)
"Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"Later Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, "See, you have been made well! Do not sin any more, so that nothing worse happens to you.""
✝️
Luke 5:23-24
Authorized Version (AV)
"Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"Which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven you,' or to say, 'Stand up and walk'? But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins" β€”he said to the one who was paralyzedβ€”"I say to you, stand up and take your bed and go to your home.""

That's why you won't find a sinner's prayer here to post on this website, not that you don't need to pray one to God when you are ready to believe, just like we all do. Jesus says we believers all need to pray expecting His forgiveness to us for our own sins, in equal measure to the forgiveness we give others.

✝️
Luke 11:4
Authorized Version (AV)
"And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"And forgive us our sins, for we ourselves forgive everyone indebted to us. And do not bring us to the time of trial.""

But if you're just now trying to believe in Jesus, it isn't required for you to confess your sins to us here first, in order for Jesus to prove Himself to you by working the personal healing miracle you seek. Besides, confession gets into issues of requirements for salvation and eternal life that we here leave to the various Christian faith groups to believe and teach in their own way, as they each feel led by the Spirit to do.

We simply agree together here that you'll certainly find forgiveness of your sins in repentance by starting with faith in the power of God's love and forgiveness in Christ. That's the same love and forgiveness in which He asks us all to believe, and to have for one another, if we expect to receive miracles at His hand.

✝️
Mark 11:24-26
Authorized Version (AV)
"Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. "Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.""
✝️
John 14:10-11
Authorized Version (AV)
"Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own; but the Father who dwells in me does his works. Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; but if you do not, then believe me because of the works themselves.""

Guidelines for Unity and Agreement

Are you a Christian who has fallen into sin of any sort? Then this place is for you, too, a place of restoration and support in brotherly love, because we all know that temptations surround us in this world.

Again, not that you ought to confess your sins to us here, either. You're a believer already, so you should already have a local Christian faith group where you can do that. But if you can see here our forgiveness for one another in Christ, and the forgiveness of God freely available the same in Christ to us all, and God's expectation of repentance in all us believers, then you can surely remember your need, the same as ours, for His eternal, unbounded forgiveness to us all in repentance.

✝️
Ephesians 4:20-24
Authorized Version (AV)
"But ye have not so learned Christ; If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"That is not the way you learned Christ! For surely you have heard about him and were taught in him, as truth is in Jesus. You were taught to put away your former way of life, your old self, corrupt and deluded by its lusts, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to clothe yourselves with the new self, created according to the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.""
✝️
Ephesians 4:32
Authorized Version (AV)
"And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"and be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven you.""

Regardless where each of us believers may presently be in our walk of faith with Jesus, no matter how long, or how well, or even how poorly we may have served Him in the past, we still know that our walk with Him here on earth is a continuous process, requiring the ever-present forgiveness of God that is made available to each of us through the blood of our Savior.

✝️
Philippians 3:12
Authorized Version (AV)
"Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"Not that I have already obtained this or have already reached the goal; but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own.""

So, if there is one aspect of Jesus that we want most for the world to see here, it is His forgiveness. We most want the world to know the gospel, good news of His forgiveness that is freely available to anyone who will begin by believing the sacrifice of God's Son, Jesus, which paid for the sins of us all.

✝️
John 17:23
Authorized Version (AV)
"I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"I in them and you in me, that they may become completely one, so that the world may know that you have sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.""
🎯

Membership Purpose and Basis

It is our simple intent for membership in the Prayer Group here to find agreement in, and give expression to, our spiritual unity together in God's love and God's righteousness given to all who will come to be in Christ.

We see and acknowledge that gift of righteousness and love in one another as believers all given His Spirit, drawing us together with one another in Himself; and by our love for one another as repentant brothers and sisters in Christ, we unite also with the Father in His eternal love and holiness for all believers, which love is Christ, Himself.

✝️
1 John 3:10-11
Authorized Version (AV)
"In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"The children of God and the children of the devil are revealed in this way: all who do not do what is right are not from God, nor are those who do not love their brothers and sisters. For this is the message you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.""

We only seek to join spiritually those with whom we are already in agreement. We offer to God our prayers in agreement here together with all who already agree in the gospel, good news message of what Jesus did for us all at the cross.

We agree here that Jesus is the one Truth that all Christians recognize: that the sacrifice of His life's blood that He shed at the cross for our sins is of utmost importance, more than any other requirement for salvation and eternal life, so much so that to us believers it is the power of God working in the life of each and every one of us.

✝️
1 Corinthians 1:18
Authorized Version (AV)
"For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"For the message about the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.""

We believers do not agree here together in water baptism as to the form it should take or when it should be done. Yet we believe together that there is a spiritual kind of baptism that is required of every believer throughout our lives, so we start here with the baptism in which we can all agree.

✝️
Luke 9:22-25
Authorized Version (AV)
"Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day. And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?"
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"saying, "The Son of Man must undergo great suffering, and be rejected by the elders, chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised." Then he said to them all, "If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. For those who want to save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will save it. What does it profit them if they gain the whole world, but lose or forfeit themselves?""
✝️
Romans 8:13-14
Authorized Version (AV)
"For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"for if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.""
✝️
Colossians 3:5-6
Authorized Version (AV)
"Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:"
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"Put to death, therefore, whatever in you is earthly: fornication, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed (which is idolatry). On account of these the wrath of God is coming on those who are disobedient.""

As believers in Christ, we are all called every day to die to the flesh, and arise alive in the Spirit, with our minds constantly renewed and fixed on the things of the Spirit of Christ who is in us all. Though the body is dead because of sin, we spiritually walk daily in newness of life, in the same, one Spirit who is life because of righteousness.

✝️
Romans 8:5-10
Authorized Version (AV)
"For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. For this reason the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God's lawβ€”indeed it cannot, and those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh; you are in the Spirit, since the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. But if Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness.""

Love and Holiness in Posting

It's important to explain what we mean by the words, "spiritual Christian unity in love and holiness", for which we pray here together in Jesus, and how we apply it to posting policies.

When we say we pray for it, it means partly that it is a goal for us, because we all expect to be led into a closer, spiritual unity with and in Jesus, not only as individuals, but also corporately, both within our own Christian faith, and also together with all other Christian believers as well.

It does not mean we are perfect persons. We all make mistakes. We all sin.

We believe that, as Christians, our lives are a work in progress in which the Holy Spirit leads us, both as individuals and together, into all truth. It does not mean we are always perfect people, but that we live in faith of Christ, walking with Him in a life-long process of being continually transformed into His likeness.

✝️
Hebrews 12:6
Authorized Version (AV)
"For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"for the Lord disciplines those whom he loves, and chastises every child whom he accepts.""

We agree to love all believers here. But we know God teaches us to love one another much more, together in Jesus. We agree in holiness here. But we know God leads us all into much greater holiness, together in Jesus.

✝️
1 John 4:10
Authorized Version (AV)
"Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son [to be] the propitiation for our sins."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.""
✝️
2 Corinthians 5:21
Authorized Version (AV)
"For he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.""

Further to the subject of unity in holiness, there is some considerable debate within Christian groups as to sexual conduct and holiness. We want to make it clear that no post will be allowed here that expresses opposition to the traditional Christian doctrine, in which it can be stated that the use of the sexual function has its true meaning and moral rectitude only in true marriage.

We believe that marriage is a holy union of one man and one woman in which they commit, with God's help, to build a loving, life-giving, faithful relationship that will last for a lifetime.

✝️
Luke 6:37
Authorized Version (AV)
"Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:"
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
""Do not judge, and you will not be judged; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven;""
✝️
John 12:47-48
Authorized Version (AV)
"And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day."
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
"I do not judge anyone who hears my words and does not keep them, for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. The one who rejects me and does not receive my word has a judge; on the last day the word that I have spoken will serve as judge,""

Additional Guidelines

One general rule we try to abide by here in the Prayer Group is to give no offense to the faith of any Christian, anywhere. Our concern is that the reader might infer any offense, intended or not. Therefore, please take all care not to offend any doctrine of any Christian faith there is.

Please also use wording that makes it clear that you are not here attempting to promote unity only in any one, particular Christian denomination or group, which is an assertion that could be taken as offensive to all other Christians. We all believe that our own Christian faith group is best; that's why we worship there. But here we're trying to show non-believers those areas where we can all agree to begin in Christian unity, not promote doctrines where we disagree.

Instead, please make it clear in all posts that you agree in spiritual unity in love and holiness with all who repent in Christ, right where they are, in every Christian denomination, non-denomination, group, or congregation in the world.

Right where they are is important. We intend great increase to each Christian faith group, by the grace of God, in retrieving the lost from out of the world, as all behold the increase of our mutual love for one another and holiness together in Jesus.

We also ask that in posts here you give no offense to any Christian of any political party, racial or ethnic group, government, or nationality. If a prayer is offered for peace, make sure it has no political implications for the rightness or wrongness of either side in a dispute. We all allow one another liberty in Christ in such matters, and there are hundreds of forums elsewhere on the Internet where Christians can, and should, express such freedom of thought as they see fit.

But on this website, we unite in spiritual things, not in political strategies. We do not seek worldwide unity here with all other Christians in any specific actions of nations or governments, but we rather seek spiritual Christian unity with believers of every nation on earth.

We ask that you please don't post prayers here regarding controversial subjects on which believers are greatly divided, or debatable subjects on which good Christians can be found on both sides of the issue. Try to make sure that every Christian in the world, without exception, can pray your prayer here along with you. This is a place for agreement, not debate, so if you add a prayer or comment here, make sure yours is, quite evidently, one of agreement and support for the prayers of others, and the expressed purposes of this entire Prayer Group.

Forgiveness and Unity

The walk of a Christian is a life-long process of being continually transformed into the likeness of Jesus. This process brings us, step-by-step, ever closer to God and tangibly shows the gospel message to the world. There is no clearer demonstration of a transformed heart and true love for Christ than when we forgive one another.

The simple fact that it's so difficult makes forgiveness a blazing light into a dark and dying world. The unity obtained through forgiveness causes the world to be drawn closer to Christ.

Being united is never a call to compromise the essential truths of the gospel; but it's clearly a call to put aside quarreling over lesser important issues and stamp out all jealously, envy, and one of the greatest evils known to man...pride! Pride keeps more people separated from God and more relationships locked in unforgiveness than any other sin.

Continued forgiveness demonstrates the gospel because it requires us to honestly face our pride, place our trust in God, and walk in absolute humility. Forgiveness is not something we can do in our own strength. We have been "wounded," unfairly treated, misunderstood. Our pride wants things to be "even" - demands the other person to confess, repent, and bow to kiss our feet. True forgiveness of others brings us back to the cross where we must confess the ugliness of our heart, acknowledge our own need for His forgiveness, and, once again, remove our self from the throne.

Continued forgiveness requires a daily crucifixion of our fleshly, pride-filled self, a submission to the leading of the Holy Spirit, and a complete trust in our Heavenly Father to continue the process He has begun in our life and to fully work in the life of others (according to His perfect timing). This is a life that definitely shines and causes the world to notice, and it is our life together in loving forgiveness for one another, which we share in Jesus, that we pray shines forth from here to light the darkness of the world.

"For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more."

Whether already in the household of God, or coming in from the outside, we gladly join with all who will come so we can all be built together on the foundation of faith in Christ for the remission of our sins in repentance. We hate sin and say so, knowing God hates sin in us all, yet we remain adamant in our love for all sinners, and in our commitment to our job of loving all sinners into Christ.

Denominational Unity and Restrictions

We keep our focus here in this Prayer Group on our love for one another as believers, and we list in our introduction just a very few of those many, many Christian denominations or groups of believers that we recognize as including some of our loving sisters and brothers who are together with us in Christ. Yet we are well aware that there are some other groups, who claim the name of Jesus, while yet teaching hurtful or hateful things about other Christian groups or denominations.

For instance, there are some that name the name of Christ, yet teach that only persons of their own denomination will get to heaven. We believe such teachings of theirs are sins against the body of Christ, and as with all sins in others, we forgive them here. But it is our fervent hope and prayer that if they see the love of God in us for each other here, in Christian unity in love for all believers, and want to join us in prayer, then they will come to have love in themselves for all believers, too, and see the error of such hateful, hurtful teachings against the body of Christ.

It is not necessary or intended here to judge persons or groups that so offend other believers. We simply ask them, out of consideration to those other believers they offend with their teachings, not to post such false teachings here, because they offend other Christians who definitely are believers to repentance in Jesus, and who love and forgive all other believers without giving such offense.

If you are a Member of such a group, one that claims that only members of your own Christian denomination or group will spend eternity in heaven with Jesus, and if you choose to show that group in your Membership Registration in the Christian faith group affiliation you name there, it can only be allowed with the understanding that you herewith refuse agreement in such false teachings that directly offend our Christian brethren, and you instead agree with us in the eternal spiritual oneness in love and holiness of all who believe to repentance in Jesus. You may otherwise prefer to register simply as "Christian", but that choice is yours to make. Many wonderful brothers and sisters in Christ prefer to be known only as "Christian".

However you name your Christian faith group on the Registration form, we feel we are forced to exclude posts here that convey any such false teachings that would directly offend or reject other believers. It would be unfair to ask other believers, who are our dear brothers and sisters in Christ, to pray in agreement with such offenders, who show by such offensive teachings that they do not regard them as their own brothers or sisters in Christ in the first place. Because they choose to give offense and to reject even one believer in Jesus, we feel we must reject their posts to that effect here in the Prayer Group.

There is no love in such offensive teachings of theirs, wherein they first reject any of our believing brothers and sisters in Christ, and wherein they force us to choose one or the other.

Please also take note: we rigidly enforce the restriction on all posts that there must be absolutely no commercial interest involved whatsoever, whether Christian operated or not. No commercial interest SPAM, in any form, will be tolerated at all, either in your posting Signature, or any other part of posts here. Neither are posts allowed that may reflect any beliefs whatsoever of any obviously non-Christ-centered cult groups.

Please be advised that any text you post here may be freely copied by others, subject to the provisions and inclusion of our copyright notice, as shown here:

Final Summary

In final summary, posts that reflect offensive teachings about other Christians, or that give offense to other Christians, are not allowed. Nevertheless, all persons that agree to effectively disclaim and avoid all offensive teachings of their group here, or register as being at least "Christian", and who only offer prayers in agreement to, and within the stated guidelines and purposes of this group, are welcome to do so.

We are as inclusive as we know how to be, while enabling believers to also pray with conviction, with every reason to believe in their hearts that they are praying in love and holiness with other believers, in the Spirit of God's love and God's righteousness, freely given to us all in Jesus.
