Believe in Unity
Father we come by the blood of Christ to place our
hearts before you. Anoint us today with the Spirit
of revelation and the Spirit of wisdom to understand
and see the vision that you have for unity in the
church. Anoint us with the Spirit of grace and the
Spirit of supplication to pray and to believe for
unity in the Church.
"For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say
unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou
cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart,
but shall believe that those things which he saith
shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he
saith." (Mr 11:23 AV)
We pray for the unity of the church, we pray for the
unity of the church around the world, we pray for
the unity of the city church in every city, we pray
for the unity of the regional church in every
region. We pray for the unity of the national
church in every nation, and we pray for unity in the
global church.
We believe in unity, we pray in the unity of the
Church, we pray for the prayer of John 17, we pray
in the prophecy of unity and oneness in John 17, we
believe in the unity of the faith, and we believe in
the unity of the city church.
"Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also
which shall believe on me through their word; That
they all may be one; as thou, Father, [art] in me,
and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that
the world may believe that thou hast sent me." (Joh
17:20-21 AV)
Praying together as one in Christ, we each make this
bold confession in faith from our hearts to you,
Heavenly Father:
I believe in unity, I believe unity shall come in
the church, that the church shall come into unity, I
believe unity is the will of God for the church, I
believe that church can have unity, I believe in the
city church, and that the city church can have
unity, and I believe in the prayer of John 17 and I
believe the prophecy of unity and oneness in John
17, and I believe in the unity of the faith.
We lift up our hearts in thanksgiving and praises to
the Lord!
Father we believe in unity, we believe that unity
will come, we have faith for unity, we pray with
confidence and boldness for unity to come in the
city church, in the regional church, in the national
church and in the global church.
Father we believe in the city church, we believe in
city church unity, we believe that the city church
will have unity, We pray for unity of the city
church, we pray for city church unity.
Father we pray for unity in the church around the
world, we pray unity is the will of the Lord; we
believe that unity is a part of the future and
destiny of the church. We pray for unity to come to
the church around the world, we pray for the church
to come into unity, we have faith for church unity
around the world.
Father we believe in the unity of the faith, we
believe that part of the destiny of the church in
the end times and what will be one of earmarks of
the end times is that church will come into the
unity of the faith and be a glorious church full of
glory. We pray for the unity of the faith to come
in glory in the church around the world.
"The gifts he gave were that some would be apostles,
some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and
teachers, to equip the saints for the work of
ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until
all of us come to the unity of the faith and of the
knowledge of the Son of God, to maturity, to the
measure of the full stature of Christ. We must no
longer be children, tossed to and fro and blown
about by every wind of doctrine, by people's
trickery, by their craftiness in deceitful scheming.
But speaking the truth in love, we must grow up in
every way into him who is the head, into Christ,"
(Eph 4:11-15 NRSV)
"And the glory which thou gavest me I have given
them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in
them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect
in one; and that the world may know that thou hast
sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved
me." (Joh 17:22-23 AV)
"Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay
down my life, that I might take it again." (Joh
10:17 AV)
"He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he
it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be
loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will
manifest myself to him." (Joh 14:21 AV)
"This is my commandment, That ye love one another,
as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than
this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."
(Joh 15:12-13 AV)
"Hereby perceive we the love [of God], because he
laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down
[our] lives for the brethren." (1Jo 3:16 AV)
Father you have given us the faith to believe for
unity and to pray for unity, you are the God of
faith, and you hear faith, if we pray with the Word
and in Faith you will hear us, we pray for unity for
unity is in the Word of God, and it is the will of
God, and we pray for unity in faith, and we know you
hear faith and the Word, so we believe and receive
unity, and pray for our prayers for unity to come to
pass.
"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our]
faith; who for the joy that was set before him
endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set
down at the right hand of the throne of God." (Heb
12:2 AV)
"to be holy and blameless before him in love...
according to his good pleasure that he set forth in
Christ, as a plan for the fullness of time, to
gather up all things in him, things in heaven and
things on earth." (Eph 1:4b, 10 NRSV)
Thank you for unity Thank you for unity Thank you
for unity Thank you for unity
"After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude,
which no man could number, of all nations, and
kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the
throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white
robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a
loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which
sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb." (Re
7:9-10 AV)
Thank you for hearing our prayers for unity!
We pray in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
