Lord Heal Our Political/Social Divisions by Jesus' Words in the Bible

Heavenly Father,

We believers in the gospel, good news in the truth of the words Jesus spoke in the Bible about His kingdom that is now come in our hearts where we keep those words written to live by, are presently faced with great political and social divisions, both literal and figurative wars, within and among nations, societies, and peoples living all over the world.

In some cases, both sides call the other side liars. In some cases, both sides call the other side Nazis. In some cases, we can see people who claim to be Christian on both sides, with no agreement in the words spoken by Jesus in the Bible.

Some, like the Christian nationalists, mistakenly try to convince us of the lie that the things of the Caesars of this world, are really the carnal weapons God wants us believers to use to promote God’s kingdom, regardless what it does to cause divisions among other Christians, Christians truly believing in repentance and forgiveness of sins by the blood of Jesus, which some Christian nationalists are willing to divide from other believers just so they can make money and have power among men which they either imagine or pretend they will be put in charge of by God. These mistakenly try to make worldly politics their idol.

“Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.” (Ro 8:7 AKJV) “For you are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are you not carnal, and walk as men?” (1Co 3:3 AKJV) “(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)” (2Co 10:4 AKJV)

“And he said to them, Render therefore to Caesar the things which be Caesar’s, and to God the things which be God’s.” (Lu 20:25 AKJV)

We know, Father, that it is not given to man to guide His own footsteps, and in these affairs of men in the world there may well be errors on both sides, but we need help in judging between the two sides, so we ask you show us, in your own words, all the errors, and help us find the best choice, or best vote if possible, or available course of action we can take.

So we seek to pray here in agreement in the meaning of your words Jesus spoke in the Bible, which are the words written on our hearts so your Spirit in us recalls them to our memory, and teaches each of us to hear the same meaning which your Spirit hears in those words, and still speaks that same meaning to each of us now in each of our hearts, leading us together into understanding the same truth in your God-spoken words.

We pray together this way in the Spirit and eternal life, and everlasting truth that are the words Jesus spoke in the Bible, Father, so the world can hear all us Christians can agree together in the words Jesus spoke, for you to prove to us believers that need to hear those words more carefully, and show to the world, the truth that is in your words, one way or the other on these issues some of us Christians seem confused about hearing you speak.

We see, Lord, the divisions in the world are apparently becoming increasingly wider divisions and confusion among members of the body of Christ today, which is comprised of all repentant, mutually loving and all-forgiving believers in repentance and forgiveness of sins in faith of the name and blood of Jesus, as much as we forgive all who sin against us. These worldly divisions are not drawing us believers together in your One Spirit of self-sacrificial love for all your children in which you command us to love all, one another believers, so the world will see the glory of the Father in the name of the Son, which glory you gave us to make us one in your Spirit of self-sacrificial love for all believers.

So we pray you help us, Lord, sort the good tree and good fruit that is grown from the good seed which is your words, and in our faith in your words, versus the bad tree and bad fruit grown from seeds sown of the words that worldly men treasure, brought forth from the hearts of men who are broods of vipers. Show us your spoken words, Lord, that always are heard as the seed and source of the fruit of your Spirit living in a sister or brother in Christ, versus the bad fruit that grows from lies spoken by children of Satan, which the understanding you speak in our hearts of your words you spoke in the Bible now give us discernment between the good versus bad fruit of the spirit it comes from.

To answer our questions about your words you spoke from the mouth of Jesus in the Bible, we simply ask you, Father, to show us more of your spoken words in the Bible to lead us into all truth in those words, like Jesus said He would live forever as Adviser, Counselor, Comforter in our hearts to do.

We ask you to give us believers three loaves of the bread of life that are your words that we need to share together in your Spirit with a believer friend, strengthening and giving life to your Spirit in both of us, teaching us in this case to learn to apply your words you spoke in the Bible to this worldly division, and help us replace this division with unity in the meaning of your words at least among all us believers.

Your words sanctify us and set us apart from the world for God’s purposes in us to be one in your One Spirit of self-sacrificial love for all believers that we see in the broken flesh and shed blood of Jesus on the cross.

So knowing Jesus says that his meat that feeds His Spirit was to do your will in flesh and blood that way as a man on Earth, Father, we now take your self-sacrificial love Jesus shows for all believers as our own food for feeding your Spirit in ourselves, to love one another, in the same way as we keep in remembrance you loved us.

And we thank you that you still feed us now with those words you spoke in the Bible for your Spirit to forever remind us, speaking in our hearts, it's not the food for our bellies that counts, but the food for his Spirit living in our hearts in the self-sacrificial love for all believers the Comforter hears in those eternal, God-spoken words that give life, and give it more abundantly.

“47 I tell you the truth, he who believes has everlasting life. 48 I am the bread of life.” (Joh 6:47-48 NivUS)

“55 For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him. 57 Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me. 58 This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your forefathers ate manna and died, but he who feeds on this bread will live forever."” (Joh 6:55-58 NivUS)

“The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life.” (Joh 6:63 NivUS

“5 Then he said to them, "Suppose one of you has a friend, and he goes to him at midnight and says, ’Friend, lend me three loaves of bread, 6 because a friend of mine on a journey has come to me, and I have nothing to set before him.’ 7 "Then the one inside answers, ’Don’t bother me. The door is already locked, and my children are with me in bed. I can’t get up and give you anything.’ 8 I tell you, though he will not get up and give him the bread because he is his friend, yet because of the man’s boldness he will get up and give him as much as he needs. 9 "So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. 11 "Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13 If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"” (Lu 11:5-13 NivUS)

“3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If you be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. 4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.” (Mt 4:3-4 AKJV)

We praise you Father, and we thank you for the constant joy you give us now in these deeply troubled times, rejoicing in the certain knowledge that your purpose will surely be accomplished in your commands, such as in the Great Commission, for us to help you gather and unite all of God’s sheep into your one flock first on Earth, and forever in Heaven, who are all God’s sheep because in the fullness of times, we all will hear those words spoken by Jesus in the Bible, and follow Him in loving obedience to learn together to live by all your commands in those God-spoken words.

Regardless of nation, race, tribe, or political party, we pray the world to listen for your voice now in these words shown below that Jesus once spoke in the Bible, which You are now speaking to us sheep of yours in our hearts, so we can come out of the confusion, hatred, and selfish lusts of the world for money, power among men, and sexual immorality, and instead come into the peace that, never the world, but only Jesus of Nazareth can give, living now as King given all power in Heaven and Earth, in His glorified body sitting at the right hand of You, Father, in Heaven, waiting for You, Father, to deliver all of us, Your sheep to the point in our lives where we hear those words of Jesus, and lovingly obey His words as our King, as we willingly bow the knee to worship the One self-sacrificial Spirit of love in Him.

Seeking to be His true worshipers uniting in His words we are, ourselves, living in the Spirit and in the truth, and in the life in the Spirit, that Jesus said are all His words He spoke here, for which we thankfully and humbly worship Jesus together in His One Spirit of self-sacrificial love for all believers, all bowed before His throne on bended knee, to let you, Father, make us into Jesus' one footstool to rest His feet on here on Earth, which Your words are certain to accomplish with every knee on Earth so bended, willingly or not, in submission to the God who the world will learn in Christian unity, is the God who sent Jesus to Earth to gather His one, eternal flock, all God's sheep feeding together on God's spoken words that strengthens the life in the Spirit in us as we worship, living by the words spoken by Jesus, noted here again.
“The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life.” (Joh 6:63 NivUS)

“23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."” (Joh 4:23-24 NivUS)

“7 Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you. 8 For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me.” (Joh 17:7-8 NivUS)

“16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. 17 ¶ Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.” (Joh 17:16-17 NivUS)

“For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit.” (Joh 3:34 NivUS)

“23 Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. 24 He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.” (Joh 14:23-24 NivUS)

We pray, Father, that you give all of us in the world to hear these words you spoke in the Bible by the mouth of Jesus carefully, with ears to hear, because Jesus says they are Spirit and life in the Spirit to us if we choose to hear your voice of the One, Good Shepherd, and follow your leading, to help You gather all your sheep into Christian unity in one, spiritual flock, united in your one Spirit of self-sacrificial love now and forever for all your sheep.

But if we wrongly choose to turn a deaf ear to these words You spoke through Jesus in the Bible, Father, we will make your words we reject be our eternal death.

“16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.” (Joh 3:16-18 ESV)

And we know that if you, God, who know every thought, see in our hearts that we lie against the Spirit in our own self, claiming that Spirit lives in us and it motivates our actions when we know it doesn’t, then our own, lying words about those words Jesus spoke will mean our death, not by the hand of man, but by your judgement in this life soon the world can see, as well as meaning our death for eternity to come. Any of us who lies against the Spirit in ourselves will be found out, especially if it is done by people claiming to be Christian helping gather the one flock with Jesus, but in their lying about their motivations which are not by the Spirit, they effectively call down judgement on themselves in this life now, like the apostle tells us below in the story of the lies that Ananias and Saphira told, that would have scattered instead of gathering the unity of the early church.

We pray, Father, that you show to all the world, and especially to all your children in Christ who all the liars are, all of whom are really children of their father, Satan; and show us who all the lying scatterers and dividers of your body of Christ on Earth really are.

For our mistaken, confused brothers and sisters in Christ who have been suckered in and fooled by the liars against Christian unity, we pray, Father, forgive them for they know not what they do. We've all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God Jesus gave us to make us one, but we're all learning together now to hear better the words Jesus spoke in the Bible, so we don't lose even the part we know already.

“Take heed therefore how you hear: for whoever has, to him shall be given; and whoever has not, from him shall be taken even that which he seems to have.” (Lu 8:18 AKJV)

And we pray Father, whether simply mistaken or false brethren that may yet repent, or your other sheep who will first learn to hear the words of your voice only when the whole world learns you sent Jesus to gather them in, we pray knowing you will show all the world that your commanded Christian unity will be accomplished as your spoken words have said, not by the might or power of man or of man's laws, but by the almighty power of your Spirit working in the heart of every one of your children gathering in your one flock, and all who oppose your spoken words otherwise, are revealed to the world to be total losers.

“15 As for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience. 16 "No one after lighting a lamp covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a stand, so that those who enter may see the light. 17 For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light.” (Lu 8:15-17 ESV)

“Then he answered and spoke to me, saying, This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, said the LORD of hosts.” (Zec 4:6 AKJV)

“4 And I say to you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. 5 But I will forewarn you whom you shall fear: Fear him, which after he has killed has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, Fear him.” (Lu 12:4-5 AKJV)

“42 Jesus said to them, If God were your Father, you would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 43 Why do you not understand my speech? even because you cannot hear my word. 44 You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and stayed not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 45 And because I tell you the truth, you believe me not.” (Joh 8:42-45 AKJV)

“30 “He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad. 31 “Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. 32 “Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come. 33 “Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit. 34 “Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 35 “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. 36 “But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. 37 “For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”” (Mt 12:30-37 NKJV)

“1 ¶ Now a man named Ananias, together with his wife Sapphira, also sold a piece of property. 2 With his wife’s full knowledge he kept back part of the money for himself, but brought the rest and put it at the apostles’ feet. 3 Then Peter said, "Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land? 4 Didn’t it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn’t the money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied to men but to God." 5 When Ananias heard this, he fell down and died. And great fear seized all who heard what had happened. 6 Then the young men came forward, wrapped up his body, and carried him out and buried him. 7 About three hours later his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. 8 Peter asked her, "Tell me, is this the price you and Ananias got for the land?" "Yes," she said, "that is the price." 9 Peter said to her, "How could you agree to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look! The feet of the men who buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out also." 10 At that moment she fell down at his feet and died. Then the young men came in and, finding her dead, carried her out and buried her beside her husband. 11 Great fear seized the whole church and all who heard about these events.” (Ac 5:1-11 NivUS)
