Unity of Christians of the Nations of Africa

(Part of the Introduction for the Coming Unity series of prayers for
regions and nations around the world.)

As you have sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. And
for their sakes I sanctify myself, so that they also may be sanctified in
truth. "I ask not only on behalf of these, but also on behalf of those who
will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one. As you,
Father, are in me and I am in you, may they also be in us, so that the world
may believe that you have sent me. (Joh 17:18-21 NRSV)


Father we come to you by the blood of Christ. Lead and guide us to pray
prayers for the Body of Christ, prayers of unity and praying for the unity
of Christians in the nations of Africa. As we pray, melt our hearts with
your love for your people in the nations of Africa.

Father our faith is becoming stronger in praying for unity, in praying for
the nations and cities around the world. Thank you for building us up
through the Word, seeds of unity and by the Holy Spirit in us.

Those who seek and pray for unity for the Body of Christ walk in Divine
Protection. *Help us, Lord, to join our faith with all believers the world
over, so we don't misjudge the Church through our own mindset, but
instead pray the will of God for all Christians who are in Christ.

We thank you for blessing us to see the truth of unity, and the love of
unity, and we ask you to lead us all to see ever more truth of unity
together in Jesus". Since we love unity of the church we walk in health and
healing. Since we don't stand as judges, instead as prayer warriors for
unity, you have blessed us with health and healing.

We humble ourselves before you, for you have granted us mercy to know your
will about unity, your love for unity, and the truth of unity. This faith
in unity is not our own, but you gave it to us, for you are the author and
finisher of our faith. We are not prideful, instead we are blessed that
you have blessed our hearts to believe in unity, and we pray let the unity
in our hearts go to the church in every city, go to the church in every
nation and the church in every place. We pray for all Christians everywhere
in Christ to have unity in their hearts as we seek to have, and we pray
that you will increase unity in our hearts for the glory of Christ, and the
destiny of the Church.

We lift our hands in faith toward the cities and nations of Africa. We pray
for healing, restoration, revival, freedom, liberty, anointing, grace,
mercy, deliverance, social transformation, blessings, rains of the Holy
Spirit, vision, hope, faith, and love to come upon all people, all cities,
all places and all nations in Africa.

We pray raise up your people in glory, victory, blessing, and unity to be
a great witness to all peoples around them and to all nations in Africa, and
to all nations around the world. We pray let unity come forth in the hearts
of every believer in Christ, let love come forth in the hearts of every
believer in Christ, let forgiveness come forth in the hearts of every
believer in Christ, let hope come forth in the hearts of every believer in
Christ in the nations of Africa.

We pray raise up the city church in every city in Africa, raise up the
city church in unity, grace, love, peace, blessing, and anointing. We pray
for city church unity to come to every city in Africa. Let city church unity
arise among the churches in every city in Africa.

We pray raise up the national church in every nation in Africa, raise them
up in glory, unity, love, holiness, revival, mercy, increase, and grace. We
pray let national church unity come to the believers, groups in Christ, and
churches within each nation in Africa.

We pray raise up unity among your people in every place in Africa, and let
the church arise in every place in Africa, raise them up in faith, wisdom,
unity, love, healing, restoration, and forgiveness. We pray let unity come
to every believer in every place in Africa.

Father we pray for the Christians of Africa; we speak grace, peace,
blessing, restoration, unity, healing, power, faith and hope. We speak and
shout grace, grace, grace, grace, grace, grace, grace, and grace. We speak
and shout blessing, blessing, blessing, blessing, blessing, blessing, and
blessing. We speak and shout healing, healing, healing, healing, healing and
