Holy Passion for Unity


Father we come boldly and humbly to the Throne Room, by faith we
receive the presence and love of the Father, and by faith we believe Christ
is at the right hand of the Father, making intercession for the church and
the world; anoint us to pray and lead us by the Holy Spirit in praying
prayers for unity of the church, and the eternal purpose of our Lord, which
is the Bride of Christ, the church around the world.

Father we humble ourselves; we come to you with our hearts wide open
for the unity of the church and for the glory of Christ.

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and
pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear
from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." (2Ch
7:14 AV)

"That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which
are called by my name, saith the LORD that doeth this." (Am 9:12 AV)

"That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles,
upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things."
(Ac 15:17 AV)

"And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch." (Ac 11:26b AV)

"And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him,
though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily.
Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?"
(Lu 18:7-8 AV)


We cry from our very hearts for unity, sweet unity, we long for unity
in the church, we pray for hours, days and months and years, we will not
give up until unity is establish in the church around the world.

"A Song of degrees of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant [it is] for
brethren to dwell together in unity!" (Ps 133:1 AV)


We cry with our eyes for unity, we cry with inner cry in our hearts
for unity, when we don't cry for unity with our eyes, instead in our hearts
there is always an inner cry for unity.

"Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we
should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for
us with groanings which cannot be uttered." (Ro 8:26 AV)


As we seek to fellowship with all believers, as we seek to love all
believers, as we seek to plant the seeds of love and unity in the hearts of
all believers, we cry with inner cry for unity from our hearts, and whenever
the church of our city gathers we come and pray for unity and cry with our
hearts for unity.

Let our crying and tears for unity be a prayer to you Father, let
our tears be a form of prayer to come before you, hear our cry, hear our
hearts, hear our voices, see our tears and fulfill our prayers for unity.

"Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my
tears: for I [am] a stranger with thee, [and] a sojourner, as all my fathers
[were]." (Ps 39:12 AV)


Since we came to know the Lord Jesus Christ and the unity of the
Trinity, and pray with Christ in John 17 the prayer and prophecy for
unity; we have been given a passion and love for unity in the Church.

"For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they
that wasted us [required of us] mirth, [saying], Sing us [one] of the songs
of Zion. How shall we sing the LORD'S song in a strange land? If I forget
thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget [her cunning]. If I do not
remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not
Jerusalem above my chief joy." (Ps 137:3-6 AV)

"And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of
heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband." (Re 21:2 AV)


However, we pray for those who are not yet open to the vision of
unity, and we forgive them, and we love them, and we wait for the love of
God to be poured out in our hearts together as one. Heal them of their
misunderstanding, and errors against unity of the church. We pray turn their
errors and misunderstandings around with holy love, and with holy passion
for unity, and open their hearts wide open for love and unity. We pray with
a humble heart toward all in Christ that may have misunderstood, that they
will come to the truth and love of unity.

"Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I
had pity on thee?" (Mt 18:33 AV)


Father we pray for the vision, revelation, and faith for unity in
the church to come to all believer's heart around the world, raise up a
united heart of love and unity in the Church.

"And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and
I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart
of flesh:" (Eze 11:19 AV)

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts
of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call
upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And
ye shall seek me, and find [me], when ye shall search for me with all your
heart. And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your
captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the
places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again
into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive." (Jer
29:11-14 AV)


Father we pray rise up the banner of unity in the church around the
world in all nations and cities. We pray the witness of love to come forth
from unity in the church that the world would witness of the love of Christ.

"That they all may be one; as thou, Father, [art] in me, and I in thee, that
they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent
me." (Joh 17:21 AV)


Father we pray for the unity of the Church in all cities and in all
nations, and in all places.

We pray in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
