"For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them."" (Mt 18:20 NRSV)

"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." (Mt 18:20 AV)

"The glory that you have given me I have given them, so that they may be one, as we are one," (Joh 17:22 NRSV)

"And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:" (Joh 17:22 AV)

"I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son." (Joh 14:13 NRSV)

"And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son." (Joh 14:13 AV)

Heavenly Father, we pray for unity in your name among all who repent and claim your name to be in the name of Jesus, who payed for our sins, giving us all eternal life together as one in you. Unite us in love and holiness with all that are in the name of the Son given to us all for eternity, and let us return to you now the glory of Christian unity you gave the Son, and the Son already gave us, that we may be one glorifying the Son's name together, that you, Father, may be glorified.

Dear merciful, Heavenly Father, forgive us our sins against the body of Christ, as we forgive one another. And if only two or three agree to love all you love eternally, who begin with faith in Christ to pay for the sins of us all; if only two or three agree to see in one another the holiness you thus give to us all, we pray yet two or three gathered here believing, knowing your assurance you have made it enough to unite and gather all believers together in the name of Jesus. Amen.
